The Item Media additional fields module provides three additional fields:

• Loan Override - the number of days which items of this media type should be permitted in a circulation, overriding that stored in the default Circulations Profile of the reader.

• Priority - Under normal circumstances, the Circulations system will issue an item for which ever duration is shorter between the Circulations Profile and the Load Override (above). By setting the Priority checkbox, it is possible to force the circulations system to use the above Loan Override value, even is of a longer duration.

• Notes - usually used for explanatory notes regarding the above configuration.

Special note: - The Item Media category type uses the normal check box data field to represent a Circulation yes/no setting. If this checkbox is ticked, items of this media type will be prevented from being circulated regardless of the Circulation Profile, Loan Override or Priority settings.
